My son started at Linda's just after he turned one. We were looking for a home from home setting, which is exactly what Linda provides. Within a short space of time, he was smiling and laughing as we arrived, happily going off to play with Linda and his friends, which was all the reassurance I needed to know he was in the best of care. 

As he grew up, he astonished me with the things he knew, from making cakes, to painting, to foods on his plate that he was suddenly happy to eat (like peas) to new words, phrases and songs. All things he was learning in Linda's setting. I am fairly certain I also have Linda to thank for his willingness to say please and thank you. 

The weekly pictures were wonderful, to see him having so much fun and doing such a variety of activities, especially all the out doors fun and adventuring, made me feel I wasn't missing out on his development. There's always an element of uncertainly about what happens when you're not looking, but Linda's openness and my son's enthusiasm for going to her home, and tales of what he got up to that day, gave me every confidence. Linda has tireless energy and imagination, structuring the days and weeks to ensure the children never get bored and are always learning and stimulated. 

Linda has played no small part in helping my son grow into such a sweet and kind little boy, with good manners and an eagerness to learn, take part in group activities as well as calmly play on his own. I certainly hope we stay in contact; she has been such a huge, positive influence in my sons life, fostering his unique talents and allowing him to find and develop new talents.

Our son Inigo's care under Linda Bonnar was exceptional. The level of communication with parents and information about all the activities and our son's participation meant we always felt absolutely confident when he was in Linda's care. Linda gave us details at the end of each week about what the children had been doing and then gave us a personalised paragraph about Inigo's particular progress. She used Early Years guidelines to measure Inigo's progress and gave us helpful tips to encourage him. She also gave details of the children's meals a week in advance. All of this information was extremely helpful. Inigo spent a very happy year with Linda during which time he learned to move and communicate with his peers and with carers. He started The Ark nursery just after he turned 2, a confident, happy child, able to express himself and play happily alone and with others.

The care towards Kieran that was provided by Linda as well as her staff was of the highest level . The outdoor and indoor activities undertaken were fantastic. Each day was well planned and suited my son as well as the other children. The meals were nutritious, well balanced and freshly prepared. By the time Kieran started nursery he was well prepared to interact with other children as well as feel comfortable to play on his own with puzzles or simply look at books. I am convinced that the time spend at Linda’s child minding establishment contributed enormously to him having an easy transition from child-minding to nursery.

I would not hesitate recommending Linda’s establishment and am very grateful for the time Kieran was able to spend with her and her staff.
